New York City

Walked around Soho and other parts of New York today.








The Metropolitan Museum of Art

And then we drove to The Cloisters before it closed.







And the last thing we did was go to Coney Island to play bumper cars and watch a freak show haha. Funny I didn't take pictures of either, but here is a section of side shows that looked incredibly silly.

New York City at night

I attempted to take pictures of Times Square through a car window. It seems every time I'm in NYC I want to go to Times Square at night to take pictures, but something ends up getting my way! Would like to walk around and do a better job one of these days.







This last one is one of those nifty garages that park cars vertically!

Portland and South Portland

Did a photo run with a friend today. We started on the East End, headed over to Deering Oaks, and then crossed the bridge to end up under it. I was pretty impressed with the space down there!

So first the East End. Where I spotted two Oprah's I hadn't seen.





Other than that, it was cold, windy, and the lighting was all wrong. We headed to Deering Oaks after making a quick stop in a little park on the East End which overlooks the city. The lighting wasn't that wonderful, so I won't share any pictures from that.





I wasn't sure which I liked more.





And some bridges.

And then the sun set, so we couldn't play anymore. It was cold anyway.

Portland Walk

A friend and I decided to go on a photo shoot today since we had nice weather. A bit chilly, but nice nonetheless.

We started out wandering aimlessly..or mostly aimlessly.





First we went to see the Asylum graffiti, which is very nice when you look in the out of the way parts of the building..




We were thinking about going to the top of the Nickelodeon garage, but it didn't look very tall when we got there. Instead I took a picture of a bench. Woo!





And then I mentioned a place I had gone on a few occasions which had decent views of the east end and cove. We headed to Congress Street.





I had never seen this statue before..it's well hidden!





And finally we made it to our last destination.
