Portland's East End

After the rain cleared up, I decided to take a walk on the east end with a friend. It's funny that the real reason for going, was to take a picture of Oprah. I had taken a similar picture prior to seeing this one, and when I saw this one, I knew I needed to start a little collection haha. I found a few spots I wasn't familiar with, and the sky was gorgeous in all directions.

Walk around Portland, Maine

A friend and I walked a good amount of Portland yesterday, and here is the partial trail. The weather was good, then bad, then good again. Interesting day. :)

Free Street.

Around Congress Street

Really low clouds. Overlooking the city in the east end.

A mural in the east end

Marginal Way. To the left was sun, to the right was rain.

Wow..

The sky was getting pretty nasty at that point, and it started to rain. We took refuge, and then when the rain stopped, we went to Deering Oaks Park to take some pictures of flowers.

A lot of flowers.

Autumn

It's been awhile since I've updated. In all honesty, I lost my will to do a lot of things in the past month or so. I've been reassessing what photography means to me, and what I want to accomplish (if anything) with it.

Of course we had a very beautiful Autumn here, and I finally pulled myself together to go out and take some pictures.
These were taken November 11th at Deering Oaks Park, and around the East End of Portland.
