35 Mayo Street Fire

I was about to go out to the park to take pictures of flowers with a friend, when he suddenly started talking about something big going on. Seems there was a fire right near where he was.. I drove over as he continued to tell me about the fire. He watched as people jumped out of a window to safety. Here are some pictures that I took, while they were trying to contain the fire.

The park wasn't as impressive as I thought it'd be..I wanted to take pictures of flowers, but there were only one kind to photograph and the light was going down. Another time.

Abandoned Factory in PA and Centralia, PA

Drove through Pennsylvania today heading to Centralia. Along the way, we took a side street which I'm not remembering the name of. It led to some abandoned factories. Even though it was raining and cold, we decided to get out and explore. The roof was leaking, but the factory provided shelter from the storm.

The wind was pretty strong and my hands were freezing, so I didn't spend as much time here as I would have liked to. We decided to continue on to Centralia. Luckily the rain had died down during our whole visit to Centralia. Then of course as we were leaving it picked up again..

Burning Hand

At this time I have my hands full with the photo adventure group that I started. I'm going to be running things a bit differently and more organized in the future I think. Since this is the first trip, I'm sure people will be forgiving if everything doesn't go as planned.
My roommate wanted me to take a picture of his hand on fire, so I did. It came out pretty cool.
