Cavalry Cemetery

I made a last minute decision to go to South Portland today. This fog has immersed the city for a few days, and so I thought I'd go to this really nifty graveyard and take some pictures.

Fort Knox and Bar Harbor

Yesterday, my mother and I had decided to spend the weekend in Bar Harbor. Along the way, we were driving by Fort Knox in Bucksport, and decided to stop for a picnic and to take pictures.

One of the first things we did when we arrived at Bar Harbor, was walk down to the actual Harbor. I was checking out the boats, and admiring a huge sailboat. I said something like "that's a great boat", when this lady near me asks me which boat I'm talking about. I point to which one, and she points to another and says it's Sean Connery's boat! Apparently he was around town somewhere. The 2nd picture is Sean's boat, the other two are of the boat I fell in love with.

This morning when we woke up, we went to Acadia (the parts of it that are free to enter) and took pictures. The weather wasn't very nice, but we caught a little bit of time where there was no rain.

The Imp Trail

Yesterday I went hiking in New Hampshire. The Imp Trail is a 6.5 mile trail in the White Mountain National Forest, near Gorham New Hampshire. It's a pretty steep climb for about 2 miles, but the view was worth it. It was another 4 or so miles back to the bottom, but not as steep. Most people hike this trail the other way around.

After work, went for a walk around Mackworth Island.
