I was going to spend the day in Seattle today, but after researching and finding out that museums would be free on Thursday, I decided I'd go to Vancouver instead.This ended up being incredibly silly in the long run for two reasons. Walked around Soho and other parts of New York today. The Metropolitan Museum of Art Outside of the museum on the street.And then we drove to The Cloisters before it closed. Went for a walk partway around Mackworth Island today. The sun started going down before I made it too far because I kept stopping to take pictures. Very nice out today! Due to unusual circumstances, I was able to not work today, thus allowing me for some time to take pictures. I went to Fore River Sanctuary, and actually found the path this time.. The lighting was troublesome, so I played around with settings a lot.

I went for a hike with my brother and his dog today at Bradbury Mountain State Park. Though I'd say the peak colors are gone, there is still some color out there.After seeing the quarry and hiking a little bit, we reached the summit. Czech Republic has joined the European Union, but haven't switched over to Euro's yet. They have higher than a 3% deficit and I guess it needs to be under that before they can make the switch.

This seems to be becoming a regular route of mine, when I have the time for it. These were taken during the early afternoon, so the lighting wasn't entirely flattering. You work with what you've got though. I went out to Prouts Neck for the first time, and revisited Fort Williams.

After the rain cleared up, I decided to take a walk on the east end with a friend. It's funny that the real reason for going, was to take a picture of Oprah. I had taken a similar picture prior to seeing this one, and when I saw this one, I knew I needed to start a little collection haha. I found a few spots I wasn't familiar with, and the sky was gorgeous in all directions.
